Delayed b'day...

That's what it's been today, Thanda's delayed b'day bash thing. I mean yeah we were supposed to have it like ages ago and stuff, but yeah wasn't to be. So about time we did do it lol. But still, it was pretty good overall i guess.

Tuesday

Really just did some work. I needed to do alot of work so yeah i did a bit, but not enough. I gotta do alot more thursday argh. But yeah did the acct practice set, qmb and qma work. Still haven't touched micro since that exam so yeah i haven't been screwed to do more of that.

But yeah Sarah insisted that i go over to her place @ about 1ish so yeah i went over, and since Janice finished uni early and Tim couldn't be bothered to go uni (you lazy bastard), they also went over and we have a good time chatting and stuff. I mean yeah i have been chilling all week and all, but not all the time i get to chill with the people who are some of my closest friends. So yeah even though it was a good catch-up session and stuff, there were quite a few deep and meaningful talks between us. All of us had something to say i guess.

Sure we do talk about alot of this stuff between other people and all, but not all the time it's just us. What i mean by that is that sure we can just talk and stuff with other people, but not all the time we'll reveal all of our stuff. Us 4 are really close so yeah we can do stuff like that so yeah, that's pretty cool.

The big thing for me was to get this whole revenge thing sorted with Sarah and Janice. Janice didn't have as big of a role to play in that, as she wasn't as affect for good reasons, but i did screw things between Sarah and someone else. So yeah it was a good half an hour discussing things and all so got stuff in the open and cleared the air. So we're all good with this thing now. I learnt from Sisi that communication is important, and i just used that during the discussion i guess. I wanted to get some stuff off my chest, and i did. Sure it might not the kindest things that i said, but nor was theirs. At least we go that in the open and resolved this situation there. That was pretty cool, and it's also cool that something like this doesn't affect our friendship with each other. That's true friendship - one which lasts throughout many situations.

There were many from each one of us i guess, but yeah there were only a few big issues. Apart from clearing that situation up, just needed to inform people about stuff between Sisi and i. So yeah that was good too, just to let people know and stuff. Apart from that, the rest of the day was pretty damn boring.

Today

Had to go to central early to meet with Kim and Geoff so that we could buy Thanda's present. The situation was that i was supposed to be chipping in with Adrian and Geoff and also a friend of Thanda's. But what happened was that that friend had to go off overseas for a while 'cause one of her grandparents passed away so she couldn't do anything and then Adrian fell sick so yeah couldn't do anything about that.

Kim already bought Thanda something so yeah she was alright, but yeah with Geoff and I, we had to find something. With my recent "trying to find present" experience, i know i suck. But yeah Kim came along to try and help us. So we went around market and sussex centre for about an hour and we couldn't find anything so yeah that sucked. We eventually went over to the old Kam Fook in market and yeah met with Thanda and Miguel (her bf). Ben Lai was supposed to have been there since he did organise it all. Yeah i'm too lazy unless i'm bothered to do something. So we were all just waiting there and stuff, then we decided to walk over to the food court and bum. Ben eventually got there like about 10 minutes later.

The group was supposed to be Ben Lai, Thanda, Miguel, Adrian, Kim, Geoff, Dennis, Ben Ha, Qi qi and Alan, but yeah Ben Ha and Qi qi didn't really know about it 'cause Ben had the wrong number for both of them so yeah they couldn't turn up, Adrian was sick as i said before, and Alan couldn't make it for personal reasons which i don't know. Dennis, being Dennis, turned up half an hour late, and his reason being that there wasn't parking close to Westmead station today, so he had to park a bit further away so yeah. Eventually the people who did turn up, went inside and we had yum cha. I don't know why we have it seriously. It's only with our group that we go over to the old Kam Fook. So yeah next time, if i organise it, we're not going over to Kam Fook.

So after lunch we went over to Maloney's on george st to play a bit of pool. Trying to teach chix how to play pool is something of a struggle when they can't even do a flat bridge...so yeah the other guys tried to teach them so yeah. Only Ben, Dennis and i had drinks. Ben had a jap beer and a Long Island Iced Tea. Considering he's a beer drinker, it's pretty good that he took the long island. Thing was that the person who served him that stuffed up and it was pretty bitter on the first taste, then the coke and lemon, which is supposed to cancel each other out, didn't. So you could taste the coke after the bitter mix, then the lemon aftertaste. So yeah that wasn't cool. After that though, he was tipsy so yeah we had to help him along. Dennis had a pineapple breezer and a gin & tonic. I went traditional and had a lime breezer and the good ol' lemon ruski. I love the ruski taste so much. It's so good for a traditional taste. Light stuff and alright taste. What more can you ask for?

After Maloney's, went over to the cinemas and tried to pick what to watch. By then, Kim and Geoff had to leave so that left us 2 down. The five of us remaining had a choice between Lady Killer and White Chics. At first, we were going to watch Lady Killer, then the session that we were going to watch was full. So we ended up watching White Chics.

I was definitely surprised about how good the actual stuff was. The storyline was just bad towards the end, but yeah most of it was alright. The jokes made up for any stuff-ups anyway. It was surprisingly good. I can say i had major doubts about the movie but yeah it was really good. I gotta thank Sisi for recommending it to me. Thank you!!! :D

After, i went over to Naomi's to pick up some stuff, then yeah went home and now on.

Tomorrow, gotta do uni work and also might get some people to come over during the day. Might think about it so yeah. No time for thoughts today. Still need to get stuff done and organise some important things, and it's no longer just the committee things either...
