Interviews

That's what was supposed to happen this week anyway. I'll explain what i mean later. It's definately been a different week this week compared to last, when i was doing like next to nothing last week really, apart from thursday and saturday.

Sunday

Just quickly, well i've finished the baptism classes now, so yeah i'm going to get baptised at the end of the month, but that also means that i gotta go back to teaching the kids who i haven't seen in over a month. It's good to get back to routine i guess.

Problem is that i still have to share my testimony. The testimony is your personal journey ***shudders at that word*** through life with Christ, and how you've come to know and grow through Christ. That's already boring as it is, but to make it worse, i have to share it in front of the whole congregation. Sure it's only like 150 people, but still, 150 people and public speaking...not good...

Ko and Ben Chan shared theirs on Sunday, and yeah they were scared outta their minds, since they didn't know exactly how to go about saying it, and the fact that there is 150 people present. As if us 3 and Alex like public speaking, but yeah need to do it. This coming week it's me and Irene, but yeah still no idea how it's going to work for me. Not looking forward to it...

Monday

Went over to Castle Hill for an interview. It's for that mathemagic computer tutor people, so yeah it was called an "observation" day where i was to look at how to do the job and all that.

Rocked up at about 9:20, since my bus only gets there then, and i'm not bothered to get there earlier, and met some guy called Ricky (not the guy who likes Sarah), and yeah talked for a bit, but looked on at how i was supposed to do it, and then just kept looking really.

It's a boring job, but good money so oh well. Some other dude shows up and then the boss, John, finally shows at 11. I was bored outta my mind for 2 hours waiting for him argh. He taught me how to do the job, so basically training on the spot. Then after all of that, he asked if i wanted to give it a shot and all. Thing was i had to meet Candice in the city at 1, and by that time when John asked me, it was 12 already. He told me to think about it and get back to him.

Gotta thank Mon for getting me the interview in the first place, thank you!!!

So i told John i couldn't stay and left for the city. Eventually made it to the city about 45 minutes late, since i didn't expect the dude to show up that late. So yeah the rest of the day bummed with Candice and her friends, Jacqi, Maria and Olivia. She wanted some help with 1b and qmb so i gave her some help, but apart from that did nothing else but bum with them.

Tuesday

Was supposed to have 2 interviews on tuesday, but then one of them cancelled on me, and the other did the same, but rescheduled for wednesday. So my original plan was to go to uni and see Kim, Thanda and Geoff quickly and give Kim and Thanda my notes, then bum with Vani until about 12:30, and then go over to the interview. Since there was no interview, i decided just to bum at uni for the whole day.

Got there at about 11, and Vani wasn't there. So i bummed up in SAM and tried to find people but yeah couldn't find any. Then i was walking around and bumped into Jono Mather and we chatted for a while, but yeah he had to go study (hehehe study...having fun everyone?) so yeah then Mic calls and tells me that he's at mac centre, so i walked over there and bummed for a while.

Called Mon just to see if she was working at mac centre tuesday. She was so Vani, Mic and I went over and bugged her for a while, just to see what's going on and all so yeah.

After, walked over to the electrical sys building since Mic had a tute, and Vani followed him so yeah, i went over to find Kim, Thanda and Geoff. They still had tute so i bummed in another room until they came out. Went over to have lunch at mac centre, apart from pretzels, lunch wasn't special.

Bumped into Vani and Mic whilst having lunch with Thanda, Kim and Geoff, but yeah they did have to go watch The Forgotten so yah they left.

I'm away from those 3 for a month and a bit, and they're all so damn weird. Like they were weird already, and so was i back then, but now they're just even more strange. I don't get it lol, and those 2 pick on Geoff as well, and i don't know what they make him do and all, but yeah it's changed. Not cool...

Eventually went into Thanda's marketing class where for the first time ever, i was bored out of my mind in a marketing class. Thanda was right in saying that the reason why it was boring for me was that i don't give a damn about it. But the lecturer did make it really REALLY boring so i think it's both of those aspects. But yeah went in for half a lecture, then met Sarah and Elise at Sarah's place just to give Elise some of my qmb notes. She looked at the qma notes as well, but yeah i told her i had to give it to Geoff, so i might have to go into uni again.

Wednesday

Not happy at all about this day, not happy at all. Was going over to Star City since my interview was in a place close to Star City. Being stupid, I walked from Central instead of Town Hall, thinking that i could still get to Star City that way.

So i walked over from Central to Darling Harbour, then walked over to the Powerhouse Museum, then i turned left and next thing i'm at the back of UTS. Walked over to the Haymarket campus, then back over to Darling Harbour, then back to Powerhouse again.

What i should have done was either get off at Town Hall and walk to Star City along the bridge, or from Darling Harbour, walk over to Harbourside and then take the bridge there. So i called the guys asking them how to get there, and then the manager dude tells me THAT THERE'S NO DAMN INTERVIEW.

Not happy at all, so i told him that some chic told me to go on wendesday, then he tells me that there's no interview on wednesday at all. So he reschedules me for next tuesday. So i went all that way from home, and paying dosh too, and walking all that way, for nothing.

I get home and then accepted John's offer of the job, and yeah first day's friday. Thanks Mon!!!

Friday

First day's pretty damn boring. Really haven't done anything much at all, but yeah made an appointment so yeah that should mean that i get paid. I'm pretty tired right now, i'll explain what happens on the job some other time.

Most probably going out tomorrow and stuff like that, and then church and then work, more crappy work...
