Mixed...

There's been quite a bit going on today, quite a bit. The title's about the best word i could use to describe what happened today really. Weird crazy times and moments and yeah just going from one extreme to another, well close to the extremes anyway, kinda.

Started when i woke up with like 10 minutes to get out of the house so that i can get the bus. From the day before with waking up at 4:30, then today with getting up with 10 minutes to get ready. Pretty extreme. So yeah pretty tired when i got to uni.

The etiquette lecturer was on time as usual and i was late, as usual. But yeah the lecture was actually something i understood, again. It's like only these past few weeks where i actually get what's going on in the lectures. It's also the first time when the lecture's finished early. Usually the lecturer just stops the lecture with like a few points remaining, since he goes right up until time, but today we finished where we were supposed to be, and finished early too. That's a first. Pretty impressive considering i've hated micro up till now. It's actually that bad. I pity those poor people who are doing macro right now. Study hard and keep up to date and keep reading. That's all you can really do for that. Unless you can get your hand on a few past papers.

But yeah, today the lecturer went off at that chic fucker, as in that chic in the group of 6 in my finance class. I've hated her since that first lecture in finance, and she hasn't changed. The lecturer stopped mid-way into his lecture just to go off at her. He said something along the lines of:

"You can sit up the back with those 2 guys next to you, but that touching...you're that close to being thrown out..."

"You can stay up the back & play games all you like, but placing your hands in that manner is not appropriate behaviour..."

"You're a foolish person you know that?"

So yeah i don't know what he meant by the whole "touching" and "hands" bit, but yeah the whole lecture was like "what?" But yeah he went off at them, and i know they won't learn a thing. It'll keep happening. Thank God it's only 3 more weeks with them and i'm done, hopefully forever...

Got my results back from the micro exam we had over 3 weeks ago. I didn't do too great at all, 31/45. It's worth 25% overall so yeah i need to nail the finals for that. At least i'm doing pretty damn good considering eco isn't my strength. Got a heap of cd's off Kim today and i'm listening to some of them now, it's dance stuff so yeah. She had a whole heap of them and i was like "hmm". I had no idea she was into dance/techno/happy hardcore. But yeah all good.

After that, the tute wasn't anything much so yeah. Had lunch with Sam and Nate just to catch-up and encourage each other on our trials and tribulations. Just keeping each other encouraged and stuff. But yeah Thanda, Kim and Geoff came over for really no reason, well to tell me that i should get going because of the statistics exam that was like in half an hours time. I know it was all Thanda's idea just to see who the guys were, but yeah i still don't know why anyway.

So off to the exam, and without any study, since i was busy trying to figure out what to do with stuff and had alot of uni work due as well so i had to just balance everything. But i didn't balance my study time so yeah i went into the exam with virtually no studying. I paid the price too, i know if i studied then i'd do alot better than what i did. But yeah i couldn't have done too much better i guess. I'm hoping for a pass. It's either worth 15% or 0%. It depends how i go in my finals, and that determines if this is counted. Not that good when i came out, i mean yeah i knew most of it, but i'm not confident. Need to concentrate on finance now...

Came home, did a bit of qmb work, and got called by Alan just to find out from me what he needed to know in the statistics exam. I can't blame him.

Tomorrow, the lecturer who can't teach, the gay tutor and the nazi lecturer. Joy.

Still have many things to balance between organising stuff and uni work and uni study. There's also another issue i gotta deal with as well. Hopefully i'll find time for all of that and the stuff that i want to do as well...
